A delegation of representatives from Volgograd State Technical University, including the head of the International Relations Department, Grigory Vladimirovich Boyko, and the Associate professor of the Department of Technical Operation and Repair of Automobiles, Alexey Pavlovich Fedin, from the Volgograd region, within the framework of the program of the Interregional Scientific and Educational Center of the South of Russia of the Volgograd region, Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region (CEC of the SOUTH of Russia) visited Vitebsk region of the Republic of Belarus on a business mission from December 17 to December 21 at the invitation of the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.

Volgograd and Vitebsk regions have long-standing and warm relations, as well as Volgograd and Vitebsk Universities. The business mission took place as within the framework of the 2.4.1 event "Participation in international exhibitions, forums and conferences in the field of smart agriculture and agricultural machinery, business missions" of the development program of the Southern Scientific and Educational Center of the South of Russia and aimed to establish contacts with interested representatives of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in the field of modeling braking processes for vehicles and agricultural machinery equipped with anti-lock braking systems, using fuzzy controllers.

During the visit, meetings were held with the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies E.N. Zaleskaya, the First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov A.P. Mekhovich, and professors of the Departments of Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Information Technology, and Business Management.

During the visit, it was agreed that the universities will:

• develop cooperation in the field of modeling braking processes of automobiles and agricultural machinery equipped with an anti-lock braking system, using fuzzy controllers within the framework of the event 2.4.1 "Participation in international exhibitions, forums and conferences in the field of smart agriculture and agricultural engineering, business missions" of the development program of the Science and Technology Center of the South of Russia;
• submit a joint application in 2024 for a grant through the Presidential Grants Fund (Russia);
• promote mutual internships for teaching staff, graduate students, and students;
• promote the development of scientific cooperation and conduct joint research in areas of mutual interest;
• facilitate interested VSU staff to participate in the International Conference "Current Trends in Education Development: Best Russian and Foreign Practices", which will take place from May 3 to May 8, 2024 at VolgSTU.

The stay in the friendly Belarusian land left a lot of impressions and positive emotions, professional knowledge, and useful contacts in the hearts and minds of the participants of the VolgSTU delegation.
