On the 18th of October VSU was visited by partners from the Shandong Association for the Promotion of Education Development. During the business visit the university presented its scientific, educational, innovative and cultural potentials.
16-18 October VSU Rector Valentina Bogatyryova takes part in the Forum of University Rectors of Russia, Brazil and Belarus and the Forum of University Rectors of BRICS countries to strengthen inter-university cooperation.
16-18 October Pskov State University holds the International Scientific and Educational Forum ‘Post-Soviet Space in Historical Retrospect: Integration and Disintegration Processes’.
On the 9th of October a solemn ceremony of signing an agreement on international scientific cooperation with the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science ‘Institute of Regional Economy Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ took place.
The IX International Youth Forum ‘Eurasia Global’ took place in Orenburg from 23rd to 29th September. Anna Bumazhenka represented Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov as a member of the Belarusian delegation.
On 25-27 September within the framework of the Student Scientific and Popular Science Expedition ‘Managing the Future’ students of our university visited the State University of Management in Moscow.
On the 26th of September within the framework of the programme of youth and student tourism P.M. Masherov VSU hosted a delegation from the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk).
On 19-22 September the Pskov State University hosted the final of the International Festival of Theatre Art ‘Bridges of Friendship’ for representatives of student theatre groups of non-core universities of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
P.M. Masherov VSU was awarded with the Acknowledgement of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin ‘For active participation in the organisation and holding of the events of the XI Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia’.
