ABOUT THE CLUB

The Sports club was founded to promote a healthy lifestyle. The instructors organize summer and winter sports festivals to encourage our students from home and abroad to participale in competitions in football, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, track and field athletics (across faculties), sports and athletics. Club’s facilities can also be used for a fee.

The Club arranges annual games "Health" for the university’s employee, hiking tours of II World War sites and P.M. Masherovs homeplace, visits to the museum of sports fame in Vitebsk Region and trips to see sports competitions (in football, basketball, track-and-field, etc.) held in Vitebsk. It also takes part in organizing events devoted to state holidays.

The Club provides the facilities for weekday and weekend training sessions in mini- football. It is also engaged in selecting students for university teams to compete at the town, Republic and International levels.
