From 1st to 6th July, Valentina Bogatyreva, Rector of the University, visited the Kyrgyz Republic. During the visit, a number of negotiations were held in order to strengthen the image of the P.M. Masherov VSU in the Kyrgyz Republic, expand cooperation in higher education by establishing interaction with Kyrgyz institutions of higher education, and enhance the competitiveness of Belarusian education abroad.

On 1 July, the Rector visited the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Kyrgyz Republic, during which negotiations were held with representatives of the Embassy on the development of mutually beneficial areas of cooperation with educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Following the visit to the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn an agreement on co-operation was signed and the prospects of strategic partnership between P.M. Masherov VSU and the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn were discussed.

After negotiations on the development of academic mobility, organisation of summer schools on the basis of partner universities and participation in grant competitions for joint educational projects with the Kyrgyz State University named after P.M. Masherov and the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, an agreement was established. I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, contractual relations in scientific, cultural and educational co-operation were established.

Cooperation agreements were also signed with the Kyrgyz-Russian (Slavic) University and Issyk-Kul State University named after Kasym Tynystanov.
