On December 3rd, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, led by the Rector of the University, Valentina Bogatyreva, held negotiations on cooperation with representatives of the University of Cienfuegos (Republic of Cuba).
 
 Within the framework of interaction negotiations, VSU presented its scientific, educational, innovative, and cultural potentials. Discussions were held regarding the prospects for developing partnerships in the fields of educational, scientific, and socio-cultural activities to strengthen Belarusian-Cuban cooperation in the educational sphere. Agreements were reached on signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU), and areas of cooperation were formulated for inclusion in a roadmap.
