On February 20, a delegation from Tambov State University named after Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin paid a working visit to P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University.

Vice-Rector for Research of Vitebsk State University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Professor Evgeny Arshansky welcomed the guests on behalf of the host university, expressing VSU's readiness for various forms of cooperation with colleagues from the Russian Federation.

During the official meeting, both universities presented their activities, identifying initial areas for collaboration. The most promising cooperation vectors include mathematics and IT technologies, linguistics and related disciplines, as well as creative fields (art education and design).

Both parties emphasized the fundamental importance of parity relations as the foundation for long-term cooperation and implementation of ambitious educational-scientific projects. As noted by the delegation leader, Candidate of Economic Sciences Associate Professor Tatyana Kozhevnikova: "Our goal is ultimately the same - to develop the education systems of our allied nations and cultivate competitive professionals for our economies."

Concluding the official part, participants exchanged gifts and branded souvenirs, followed by a tour of the university's laboratories, centers and faculties. Various lectures and thematic roundtables will be held throughout the day for experience sharing.
