On April 2, the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, Petr Masherov Vitebsk State University hosted a celebratory event marking the completion of the "Living Memory of Grateful Generations" project.

Direct participants including representatives of Vitebsk enterprises, Russian partners, and Masherov University members gathered for the initiative collecting Soviet coins to erect a monument honoring the anti-fascist victory generation. The highlight was a meeting with project organizer Alexey Talay – Paralympic swimmer, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker from the National Paralympic Team.
