On July 17, a major event took place at VSU named after Petr Masherov: the Festival of Women's Initiatives, "The Slavic Aspect of Women's Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Prospects." The university brought together the cream of women's associations from Belarus and Russia. The official part of the event began with a plenary session of the conference, featuring presentations by women leaders from Belarus and Russia, who served as the festival's inspiration and organizers.

The presentations covered topics of women's entrepreneurship, women's participation in export-import activities, and the arts and culture sector. The conference expert was Valentina Bogatyreva, the first female rector in the history of VSU, which presented the educational, scientific and innovative potential of VSU and outlined the prospects for international cooperation.

An agreement signing ceremony took place at the plenary session. Vitebsk State University named after Peter Masherov partnered with the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts and the Ivolga Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, representing the Russian Federation.

The festival day at VSU concluded with a celebratory concert. Vocal, choreographic, and theatrical performances by Belarusian and Russian artistic groups took the stage.
