On November 21 Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherova celebrated its birthday. The celebration of this wonderful day began with the interactive educational game «109 facts about VSU» and other festive events. The culmination was the most long-awaited award ceremony of a special prize «Docendo discimus». The best of the best workers in the fields of education, sports and culture were awarded for conscientious work for the benefit of the University.

Masherov» Polushkina Tatyana Gennadevna; the dean of the Faculty of Philology, Ph.D. in Pedagogic sciences, Associate Professor Nikolayenko Sergey Vladimirovich.

WINNER in the «The Faculty of VSU – 2019» category – the Faculty of Philology. The faculty is headed by Ph.D. in Pedagogic sciences, Professor Sergey Nikolaenko.

WINNER in the «The Department of VSU – 2019, among humanitarian sciences» category – the Chair of Applied Psychology. The chair is headed by the Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Bogomaz Sergey Leonidovich.

WINNER in the «The Department of VSU – 2019, among natural sciences» category – the Chair of Algebra and Methods of Teaching Mathematics. The chair is headed by the Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vorobyov Nikolay Timofeevich.

WINNER in the «Young scientist of VSU – 2019» category – Senior Lecturer of the Chair of Botany, the Candidate of Biological Sciences Derzhinsky Evgeny Aleksandrovich.

WINNERS in the «Talent of VSU – 2019» category: student of the faculty of law Petnyanos Maria Vladimirovna; student of the faculty of physical culture and sports Vorobey Kirill Sergeevich; student of the faculty of physical culture and sports Osmolovskaya Darya Olegovna.
