Students and master’s course students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov from China took an active part in the III International Festival-competition "Art Parade in Vitebsk", which took place from January 7 to 9 in the concert hall "Vitebsk".

Performances in the nominations "Vocal" and "Instrumental music", prepared under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Music Oksana Yurievna Venzhega and Associate Professor of the Department of Music Olga Mikhailovna Zhukova, left vivid impressions among the members of the international jury, the audience, the participants themselves and brought the university team diplomas.

The jury awarded the victory in the competition and the Grand Prix to the master's student Li Qingbo for the virtuoso performance of a musical composition on the Chinese folk instrument sona.

The achievement of the team of our university was the participation in the festival-competition of the graduate student and soloist of the Henan Opera Yan Dingwen as a member of the international jury. In the execution of this difficult mission, he was assisted by a senior lecturer of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language, Tatiana Sergeevna Denisenko.
