On April 1, a graduate of the Master's course of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Hu Yongjie, who holds a senior position in one of the schools in Henan Province, met with Irina Loshakova, director of Vitebsk secondary School No. 45 named after V.F. Margelov, and the teaching staff of the school, as well as representatives of the VSU named after P.M. Masherov operating within the branch.

During the meeting, the following issues related to the institutions of general secondary education of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China were discussed:

1. The history of the development of educational institutions.
2. Educational philosophies of schools.
3. Systems of school programs.
4. Features of the teacher training system.

During the meeting there was an acquaintance with the branch of the Department of Psychology on the basis of secondary school No. 45 of Vitebsk named after V. F. Margelov. The head of the branch of the department – Elena Petrovna Milashevich, senior lecturer of the Department of Psychology and Natalia Valentinovna Kuhtova, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, PhD in Psychological Sciences presented the main tasks and functions of the branch, and also shared their experience in organizing joint scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables, consultations with students and Master’s course students on the basis of the branch of the Department of Psychology.

Zhao Linling, a volunteer from the People's Republic of China, who was sent to the University with the assistance of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, provided assistance in language support of the meeting.

The participants of the meeting exchanged contact information and discussed prospects for establishing cooperation between institutions of secondary general education of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China.
