On June 17th at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, a meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Russia and Belarus on budget, taxes and financial market and the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on economic policy, industry and trade took place. The deputies discussed issues related to drafting the budget of the Union State for the financial year 2024 and the preparation of new programs, projects and activities of the Union State.

One of the issues discussed at the joint meeting was the event of the Union State "Russian-Belarusian Forum of Border Regions" Inclusive Education: Centers and Technoparks". The Forum on Inclusive Education is planned for 2024 on the basis of the Pskov State University with the direct participation and support of VSU named after P.M. Masherov. The forum will become a platform for discussing topical issues in this area. The purpose of the event is to create a platform for the border regions of Belarus and Russia on the basis of higher education institutions for institutional, practical and methodological support for organizing an inclusive educational process and accompanying post-traumatic stress disorder. This forum will lay the foundation for the implementation of the large project "Russian-Belarusian Technopark of Border Regions" on the basis of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and Pskov State University in order to create an environment for inclusive education in the border regions. As a possible base for the future Technopark, the Regional Resource Center for Inclusive Education is already functioning at VSU. Inclusion in the context of a large-scale project implies the development of new innovative products and technologies for people with special individual needs and opportunities. The circle of people includes not only people with disabilities, but also gifted representatives of society, for whom the difficulty of adaptation and interaction in society is felt especially acutely.
