On June 26-28, the rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Dr. Valentina Vasilyevna Bogatyryova, Full Professor, Doctor of Economics Sciences, participated as part of the delegation from the Republic of Belarus in the events of the 10th Anniversary Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, held this year in the city of Ufa.

On June 27th, within the framework of the Forum, agreements on cooperation in the fields of education, science, and socio-cultural activities were signed with several higher education institutions in the Russian Federation:

1. State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bashkir academy of public service and administration under the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan";
2. Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Saint Petersburg State University of Economics";
3. Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University";
4. Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla".

On June 28th, the rector visited the Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla". Valentina Vasilyevna got acquainted with the work of the university's admissions committee, the recently established pedagogical technopark "Quantorium" named after V.A. Sadovnichy, the Institute of Physics, Mathematics, Digital and Nanotechnologies, and the Natural-Geographical Faculty. On the same day, a plenary session of the forum took place, discussing the results and prospects of the 10-year cooperation between Belarus and Russia in all spheres, including education and science.

The internationalization of educational, research, and educative processes is a strategic development direction for VSU named after P.M. Masherov. The university actively collaborates with institutions and organizations in the Russian Federation. Out of 130 agreements, 67 are with Russian partners.

The successful international cooperation of the university with partners, including Pskov State University, Voronezh State University, Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University, and Siberian Federal University, allows to achieve close collaboration in the fields of education, research, and culture. This collaboration is achieved through systematic work based on the principle of mutual benefit, using developed tools, and maintaining proper control over the execution of clearly defined tasks for the benefit of the development of both the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
