Under the motto "Teacher - Is Not a Title, Teacher – Is a Calling," an international remote scientific and practical conference dedicated to the Year of Teacher and Mentor took place at the Volgograd Technical School of Railway Transport — branch of the +the Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education " Rostov State Transport University " from June 1 to June 20.

The organizing committee received submissions from educational professionals in the system of secondary vocational education, teachers from higher education institutions in the Russian Federation, and institutions of secondary specialized education in the Republic of Belarus.

Teachers from Orsha College, E.A. Chikovanova, E.V. Dernova, and N.L. Ustinova, shared their experience with their Russian colleagues in organizing educational activities for young students. They presented their competitive works to the jury, reflecting the current issues related to the development, formation, and socialization of the younger generation in the face of contemporary socio-cultural challenges. These works addressed practical aspects of instilling concepts such as "citizenship," "patriotism," "national self-awareness," "ethnoculturality," and "morality" among the students.

On June 21st, during the meeting of the conference's expert group, the participants' works were reviewed, results were approved, and the winners and runners-up were determined.

In the category "Educating a Patriot: Traditions, Tasks, Problems," Ekaterina Anatolyevna Chikovanova's competitive work on the topic "Fostering Citizenship, Patriotism, and National Self-awareness in Future Teachers through Volunteer Activities" was recognized as the winner (Certificate for 1st place). Elena Valentinovna Dernova and Natalya Leonidovna Ustinova were awarded participant certificates in the category "Teacher - Mentor: The Social Significance of the Teaching Profession."

The conference's expert council expresses gratitude to all educators for their participation in the conference, sharing their pedagogical experience, and wishes all participants further success in their professional activities!
