From September 4th to 7th, the First Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum took place in Minsk. On September 5th, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and the Tashkent Branch of MGIMO University at the National Children's Technopark.

Within the forum, during Section #5 "Implementation of Partnership in Science and Education," the university's rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Valentina Bogatyreva delivered a presentation on the topic "Women as Leaders in the National Economy: An International Perspective."

On September 6th, the Forum's key event was the plenary session on the topic "Women in Business - Potential for the Development of Business Cooperation Between Belarus and Uzbekistan."
