Approximately 600 participants, including students and lecturers from Russia and Belarus, registered for the forum. The head of the German Philology Department at our university, Associate Professor O.V. Sheverinova, delivered a welcoming address to the forum participants.

The forum featured several interesting events aimed at supporting the intellectual development of talented young people, fostering a keen interest in linguistic issues, increasing motivation to study languages, and developing intercultural communication competence among learners. These events included:

• A roundtable discussion on "Language and National and Cultural Identity."
• An interactive seminar on "Language as a Mirror and Tool of Culture."
• An online language competition for both university students and school students.
• An online translation competition of publicistic texts.
• A methodological seminar on "Assessment in Foreign Language Teaching: Meanings, Functions, Techniques."

Masherov actively participated in all forum events, engaging in seminars, discussions, and excelling in the online language olympiad and translation competition dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor.
