On January 29, online negotiations were held between the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov" and the Agency of Preschool Education at the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan) and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. On the university side, Rector of Vitebsk State University Valentina Vasilyevna Bogatyreva, First Vice-Rector Andrey Pavlovich Mekhovich, Head of the International Relations Department Yuliya Shamilievna Salahova and Senior Legal Adviser Denis Vasilyevich Beryozko were present.

During the meeting, the planned high-level visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the opening of a branch of the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov" in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the signing of relevant documents within this framework were discussed. The negotiations were successful and became another significant step in establishing a strong and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
