From the 19th to the 25th of May, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies, Elena Nikolaevna Zalesskaya, and the Head of the Department of Applied Informatics and Management, Elena Alekseevna Korchevskaya, underwent an internship at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazev."

During the internship, the employees underwent professional development in the additional professional program "Digital Technologies in Professional Activities" and also participated in the academic mobility program in the direction of "Digital Technologies in Professional Activities," as confirmed by the certificates they received.

During the internship, the employees of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies met with the management of the Institute of Zootechnics and Biology, the Institute of Economics and Management of the Agro-Industrial Complex, and the Institute of Agrobiotechnology, and visited the digital laboratories of these institutes. In the laboratories of the Department of Applied Informatics, interdisciplinary projects on the application of computer packages and information technologies in the agro-industrial complex, including for ensuring food security, were studied. In particular, computer packages for creating "Digital Twins" were studied.

The employees of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies also familiarized themselves with the work of students carried out within funded and educational projects, studied the educational plans of specialties such as "Economics," "Management," "Information Systems and Technologies," "Applied Informatics," and educational programs of the mathematical and engineering cycle.

Lectures were delivered to students of the Institute of Zootechnics and Biology, the Institute of Economics and Management of the Agro-Industrial Complex on "Scientific Projects of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov in the Field of Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies" and "Application of AI in Medicine and Veterinary Medicine."

During a round table with the management of the Institute of Agrobiotechnology, joint directions for scientific research were outlined.

Another result of international cooperation in the field of education was the work of the international round table "Advanced Digital Technologies," where scientists from the Institute of Zootechnics and Biology, the Institute of Economics and Management of the Agro-Industrial Complex, the Institute of Agrobiotechnology, the Institute of Land Reclamation, Water Management and Construction named after A. N. Kostyakov, and scientists from Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov, Zalesskaya E. N. and Korchevskaya E. A., made joint presentations.

The acquired experience will contribute to the improvement of professional activities and will be used in the development of directions for scientific and innovative activities of the faculty, the organization of research work of students, joint preparation of scientific publications, and scientific projects within announced competitions. The employees of Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies express their gratitude to the management of the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. A.
