On June 20, as part of a youth and student tourism program, Vitebsk State University (VSU) hosted delegations from the State University of Management (Moscow) and Pskov State University (Pskov). During the visit, students from the Russian universities learned about Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, its rich history, scientific and educational potential, and achievements.
Additionally, the guests were introduced to an outstanding figure, the university's distinguished alumnus, after whom the institution is named—Pyotr Mironovich Masherov. Olga Puteeva, curator of the Pyotr Masherov Memorial Museum and the university's history museum, shared insights into the significant personality of Pyotr Masherov. Anastasia Shugaley, a student from the Faculty of Law, acquainted the participants with the "Masherovites" Leadership School, which unites active VSU students.
For the guests from the Russian Federation, an introductory tour of the city of Vitebsk was also organized, alongside the university presentation.
