On May 24th, the leadership of the Project Office for International Youth Cooperation "Russia - Belarus" and representatives of the Smolensk Regional State Autonomous Institution of Additional Vocational Education "Center for Advanced Vocational Training" visited Vitebsk State University (VSU).

The guests were given a tour of the university, including visits to the Memorial Museum of P.M. Masherov and the Lyceum of VSU, which left a lasting impression. Following the tour, a working meeting was held to discuss further fruitful cooperation.

"I am glad to welcome you to our university! We have been closely collaborating, implementing real joint projects. We are ready to offer new initiatives, project ideas, forms of cooperation, and we will be happy to implement them together. Of course, we are focused on friendship, primarily through our youth," noted Valentina Bogatyreva, the rector of VSU.

Potential projects discussed primarily focused on educational and ideological work, student scientific research activities, and academic mobility. Ideas for developing students' adjacent competencies in biotechnology, ecology, economics, and other fields were also discussed.
