On November 1st, as part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of our university, the international conference "Art and Pedagogy in the Modern World" is taking place at VSU named after P.M. Masherov. Representatives from three countries (Belarus, Russia, China) are participating in the conference.
 
 At the plenary session and in the format of three sections ("History of the Vitebsk Art School, traditions and modernity. Theory and history of art", "Actual problems of visual arts and design", "Innovative technologies in art and pedagogical education"), representatives of VSU – teachers of the Faculty of Art and Graphics, as well as guests of our university are presenting research papers. Among them are Vice-Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts Elena Rotmirova, representatives of the Moscow City Pedagogical University, "Teacher of the Year - 2023", graduate of the Faculty of Art and Graphics Sergey Shaminsky, and others.
 
 The assembled scientists, educators, artists, teachers and students of the Faculty of Art and Graphics were greeted by Vice-Rector for Research of VSU Evgeny Arshansky, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor. He congratulated everyone present on the anniversary of the > ChatGPT4 | Midjourney: Faculty of Art and Graphics and wished the conference participants fruitful work, as well as further success in creative and research activities.
 
 According to the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Graphics Elena Sokolova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, today the representatives of the Faculty of Art and Graphics are not only engaged in creativity, but also take an active part in organizing and conducting various kinds of scientific events together with partner organizations from Belarus and Russia, and the conference "Art and Pedagogy in the Modern World" is one of them. At the plenary session, Associate Professors of the Department of Fine Arts Mikhail Tsybulsky and Sergei Medvetsky spoke about the origins of the Faculty of Art and Graphics - the successor to the traditions of the Vitebsk Art School. Further, the conference continued within the framework of the sections.
