On December 6, the XI International Conference of Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists "Youth of the 21st Century: Education, Science, Innovation" was held at P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University (VSU) with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. More than 130 participants had the opportunity to exchange scientific experiences by presenting the results of their research.
This year, postgraduate students and young scientists from educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the People’s Republic of China participated with presentations. The young researchers presented their work in 10 sections covering various scientific fields.
The plenary session was moderated by Anna Igorevna Bumazhenko, Chair of the Council of Young Scientists and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education.
The plenary session was opened by Evgeny Yakovlevich Arshansky, Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Professor, who emphasized the importance of practice-oriented scientific research and engaging young people in scientific activities.
Presentations that sparked significant interest and numerous questions from the audience included:
Elena Vladimirovna Kriklevets (Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Belarusian and Russian Philology) – "Contemporary Belarusian Literature on the Great Patriotic War: Traditions, Ideology, Poetics."
Polina Yuryevna Pinchuk (second-year postgraduate student) – "Evaluation of Pancreatic Enzyme Activity Indicators in Laboratory Animals."
Dmitry Vladimirovich Golenkov (young scientist) – "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice."
At the conclusion of the plenary session, participants were awarded diplomas and presented with conference proceedings. Undoubtedly, the International Conference of Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists "Youth of the 21st Century: Education, Science, Innovation" will foster the fruitful development of creative initiatives among early-career researchers, supported by the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Scientific Society.
