From December 13 to 15, representatives of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov embarked on a cultural tour of Pskov region as part of the competition "Pskov Region. Russia Begins Here".

On the first day, the Masherov team visited Pushkinskiye Gory, where they explored the Svyatogorsky Monastery and saw the grave of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. The visit to the Mikhailovskoye Museum-Reserve, displaying the poet's personal belongings, revealed new facets of his life and work. In the evening, they attended a workshop at the Youth Center making toys for homeless animals.

The second day began with a city tour of Pskov and its Kremlin, offering magnificent views of the Velikaya River and surrounding landscapes. The "Lesopilka" animal shelter deeply moved everyone - participants donated handmade toys and helped clean the premises. Later they enjoyed the immersive performance "Pskov Traditions" showcasing local culture.

The program concluded with visits to Ostrov and Nevel cities, featuring educational tours, workshops, and a lecture about youth search-and-rescue teams in the region. Each day offered valuable activities to explore Pskov's rich heritage. Participants expressed gratitude to university administration and project organizers for this wonderfully planned journey!
