Andrei Pavlovich Mekhovich, the First Vice-Rector of P.M. Masherov VSU, is taking part in the XII Forum of regions of Russia and Belarus.
On June 26-27, Nizhny Novgorod is hosting the XII Forum of regions of Russia and Belarus titled "The Youth of Belarus and Russia – Heirs of the Great Victory and the Future of the Union State." The forum is organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The main goal of the forum is to strengthen and develop multifaceted cooperation between Russia and Belarus in trade, economic, scientific, educational, and cultural spheres. The forum is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's Victory in the Great Patriotic War and to youth policy. The business program includes seven sectional meetings dedicated to discussing cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the delegation from the Vitebsk region, Andrei Pavlovich Mekhovich signed an academic mobility agreement between P.M. Masherov VSU and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin" during the section "Youth policy of the Union State as a solid foundation for the demographic development of Russia and Belarus."
Additionally, with the aim of integrating into the international educational and scientific space, a cooperation agreement was signed during the forum between P.M. Masherov VSU and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after Kozma Minin."
On the final day of the forum, Andrei Pavlovich also participated in the forum's plenary session.
