From May 25 to 29, Irina Aleksandrovna Syomkina, Vice-Rector of P.M. Masherov VSU, participated in an official business visit to the People's Republic of China as part of a Vitebsk region delegation.

The key event of the trip was participation in the 2025 International Conference on the Development of Cooperation with Sister Cities of Shandong Province, which was attended by representatives from 47 countries worldwide. Within the framework of the conference, negotiations were held with leading Chinese educational institutions aimed at strengthening international academic ties.

Following these meetings, agreements on academic exchanges were signed: with Shandong Agricultural Engineering University and with Zibo Vocational and Technical University.

These agreements open new prospects for the development of the university's international partnerships, expanding opportunities for students and faculty, and strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between Belarus and China.
