From May 21 to 23, the "Zubryonok" National Children's Educational and Health Center hosted the international youth forum "Friendship without borders," which brought together talented and proactive young people from 13 countries. Students from P.M. Masherov VSU participated in the forum.
The goal of the forum was to expand the scope of international partnership, prospects for cooperation, and the development of friendly contacts among youth from different countries through the presentation and sharing of best youth practices.
The forum participants included young opinion leaders, student self-government leaders, activists of various student clubs, Youth SDG Ambassadors, and coordinators of international youth cooperation projects from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and other countries.
The first day of the forum began with a commemorative ceremony at the "Minsk – Hero City" stela, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War. The youth honored the memory of those who defended our Motherland's independence at the cost of their lives.
Participants were treated to an intensive three-day program.
– "The 'Friendship without borders' forum was a truly inspiring and energizing project for me," shares Alexandra Bozhko, a 1st-year student at the Faculty of Law. "It is a unique platform that unites young people from different countries around the world and provides an opportunity to learn something new about the culture and traditions of other peoples. The atmosphere was extremely warm and friendly. I had the chance to meet many bright and truly inspiring individuals who gave me unforgettable emotions. Moreover, during lectures and masterclasses, speakers shared invaluable knowledge that has secured them significant achievements in their professional fields. For me, this is an invaluable experience, and I believe that it is precisely through such forums that youth become more open, motivated for new achievements, and have the opportunity to interact with each other. I very much hope I will have the chance to come here again."
– "The forum for me was not only an interesting project full of various events, discussion platforms with professionals, and, of course, positive emotions, but also a bit of professional practice," noted Kira Avlasenko, a 1st-year student at the Faculty of Humanities, Knowledge and Communications. "I am studying 'Linguistic Support for Intercultural Communications,' and this forum gave a unique opportunity to communicate with representatives from 13 countries, learn about their culture and traditions, and bond through participation in various activities."
– Idirisov Dauranbek, a 4th-year student at the Faculty for International Student Education:
"For three days,we participated in various training and events, and I can say it was incredibly intensive and interesting. It was especially nice to see that the forum was attended by representatives from 13 countries, creating a genuine atmosphere of international communication and exchange of views. Thanks to this, I had the opportunity to meet new people, share my experiences and perspectives, and represent my homeland. This forum became not only a great opportunity to expand my network but also a wonderful reason to enjoy the fresh air, take a break from academic worries, and feel the support and warmth from the university. This moment was particularly valuable for me as I am already in my fourth year and will soon be finishing my student life. I thank the organizers for the well-thought-out program and the opportunity to be part of this amazing event. I hope such events become a good tradition for future students as well."
– Bazarbayev Mukhammad, a 4th-year student at the Faculty for International Student Education:
"This forum was truly significant for me, as in just three days we were immersed in an intensive program of training and events. The international atmosphere was especially inspiring: the participation of representatives from different countries made the discussions interesting and diverse. It was a unique chance to meet new people, exchange ideas, and talk about my country. Besides the educational aspect, the forum allowed us to enjoy nature, relax from academic concerns, and feel the warmth of the student community. In the fourth year, as graduation approaches, such moments become especially precious. I express my gratitude to all the organizers. I hope that similar initiatives will continue to delight future students and become a wonderful tradition!"
– Pavel Kanashevich, a 2nd-year student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology:
"The project gave me incredible impressions and many pleasant acquaintances. I would like to note that a very intensive program was prepared for the participants, within which we were able to enjoy a cultural program and become a real team by competing in sports disciplines. Especially important was the meeting with the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM (Belarusian Republican Youth Union), Alexander Sergeevich Lukyanov, as part of the 'Not a Chance Encounter' project. During this meeting, he shared his personal experience in becoming a true leader. I believe such events contribute to the development of interaction between universities, inspire new achievements, and foster personal growth."
