On April 24, as part of the Plan of Bilateral Cooperation Measures between the city of Arkhangelsk, Russian Federation, and the city of Vitebsk, Republic of Belarus, for 2025, a children's delegation from MBEI "Secondary School No. 14 with In-Depth Study of Individual Subjects named after Ya.I. Leitzinger" of Arkhangelsk, Arkhangelsk Region, visited the educational institution "Petr Masherov Vitebsk State University." The delegation was led by the school's Deputy Principal, T.P. Lukashevich, and foreign language teacher E.A. Lukashevich, along with foreign language teacher E.A. Vereemeyeva from SEI "Secondary School No. 47 of Vitebsk named after E.F. Ivanovsky."

A series of educational and cultural events were planned for the meeting, aiming to expand interstate cooperation and promote our country, the Vitebsk region, and the city of Vitebsk. Under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology F.M. Kirillova and with the assistance of students Violetta Agafonova and Maxim Chevenkov, specializing in "Museum Studies and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage" and "History and Social Studies," as well as volunteer students Diana Berk and Viktoriya Ignatyeva, specializing in "Belarusian Philology" from the Faculty of Humanities, Knowledge and Communications, an exciting excursion was organized for the children. During the tour, the students tried out various professions at interactive stations, learned about the specialties, admission rules, and study opportunities at our university. This was an excellent chance to glimpse the future and consider their professional path.

The guests visited laboratories of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, the astronomical center, laboratories of the Faculty of Chemical, Biological and Geographical Sciences, the museum of the Faculty of Arts and Graphics, the Center for Slavic Languages and Cultures, the Center for Linguodidactic Practices, the René Descartes French Language Center, the Chinese Language and Culture Center, and the "Spadchyna Vitebskaya Zyamli" (Heritage of the Vitebsk Land) Scientific and Educational Center of the Faculty of Humanities, Knowledge and Communications.

A significant factor in preserving historical memory is raising the younger generation in the spirit of morality and patriotism. The delegation was presented with a presentation on the theme "The People's Feat Lives On for Centuries," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War. The memory of the Great Patriotic War is sacred. No matter how many decades pass, the memory of the deed of the valiant victors and gratitude for the freedom they won will forever remain in our hearts. Eternal glory to the heroic feat of the peoples of the Soviet Union!
