Rector of the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Doctor of Economics, Professor Valentina Bogatyreva became a member of the expert group in the field of «Economics» of the Scientific Expert Council under the Standing Committee of the Union State.

On July 29, Valentina Vasilyevna presented a report on the topic «Advantages and threats of integration processes within the Union State» at a joint meeting «On scenario forecasts for the development of the Union State economy» of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on complex issues of Eurasian economic integration, modernization, competitiveness and sustainable development, the Scientific Expert Council of the Free Economic Society, and the Scientific Expert Council under the Standing Committee of the Union State.
