On August 7, a group of Chinese students from Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, led by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language Tatyana Denisenko took part in events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, as well as the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War against fascism.

The thematic meeting was held at the Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local History with the participation of regional leadership, representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Belarus, and the Association of Chinese Compatriots Organizations «Huaqiao» in the Republic of Belarus.
