On September 2-3, Vitebsk will host the 3rd Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum. The event is organized by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.

As part of the two-day forum, a scientific and practical conference, "Subcontracting Without Borders: A Launchpad for Women's Business Projects," was held at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. The conference program aims to increase women's participation in the economy, identify new business ideas and projects, and promote and develop women's entrepreneurship.

During the conference, a ceremony to award the 2024 Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Prize winners of the annual regional competition among young scientists took place on the VSU stage. Among the recipients were faculty members from VSU named after P.M. Masherov:

• Elena Vladimirovna Kriklivets, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Belarusian and Russian Philology of the Faculty of Humanities and Communications, for the work “Social and Cultural Implications of Historical Memory in Belarusian and Russian Literatures of the Second Half of the 20th – Early 21st Century”;
• Lyubov Vasilievna Gribko, lecturer at the Department of Information Technology and Business Management of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, for his work “Accounting of human capital in sectors of the national economy: status and prospects.”

The winner inThe section "Applied research and development" defines:

• Nikolai Alekseevich Tishutin, lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports Medicine of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, for his work “Methodology for improving the level of postural balance using motor-cognitive exercises.”
