Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Valentina Bogatyreva, participated in the section «Belarus – Uzbekistan: Bilateral Cooperation in the Socioeconomic Sphere (Objectives and Prospects) », which was held on September 2 as part of the 3rd Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum at the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.

Vitebsk State University named after Peter Mironovich Masherov signed an Agreement on scientific and innovative cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Tashkent).

The section included an exhibition of achievements from universities and enterprises in the Vitebsk region, where scientific and technical developments by Mashero scientists were presented.

The duet of Anna Stoyan and Klim Astramovich, winners of the third season of the television project «Star Trek», and the People's Male Choir of Faculty and Students of the P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University performed at the concert of Belarusian and Uzbek artists «TOWARDS», which marked the vibrant conclusion of the first day of the 3rd Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum.

Masherov students also took part in the two-day forum as volunteers.
