Navruz, the festival celebrating the arrival of spring according to the astronomical solar calendar, is a national holiday in Turkmenistan. It symbolizes the awakening of new life and the return of warmth after a long cold spell. In Turkmenistan, Navruz is celebrated annually for two days. This holiday has long been celebrated among the peoples of Central Asia, uniting them and becoming an integral part of their cultural heritage.
A festive event organized by students from sunny Turkmenistan took place in the hall of the VSU named after P.M. Masherov. In honor of the national holiday, international student groups prepared vibrant vocal and choreographic performances and delicious treats, introducing all participants to the best traditions of their country.
