On July 28, a delegation from the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan) visited Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. During the meeting an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Doctor of Economics, Professor Valentina Bogatyreva and the rector of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Professor Bakhodir Mamurov. The agreement is aimed at establishing direct and mutually beneficial partnership in the fields of education, science and culture, as well as at improving the effectiveness of educational, methodological and research work. The guests from Uzbekistan were also given a guided tour of the university.
