Valentina Bogatyreva, vice-rector of the VSU, have signed a contract with IBA Institute. The other side was represented by its Rector, co-founder, PhD in Engineering sciences, Associate Professor Diubkov Vladimir.
Institute of IT&Business Administration has the status of a private institution of re-training, and has been operating since 2002. The Institute offers more than 100 courses and programs of qualification development for beginners and specialists in the sphere of IT, business studies and foreign languages. The training is provided in accordance with international standards, catered for the needs of Belarusian market, therefore each student has an opportunity to become a specialist of international standards.
Since 2015 the Institute also offers a program of retraining on the basis of higher education which results in obtaining the qualification of "programmer" and a state diploma.
"I am convinced that the opportunity for our students to obtain additional certificates in the field of IT and foreign languages will attract more students and increase the prestige of the University, which corresponds to the strategy of development of the University," said Valentina Bogatyreva.
The administration of the IBA Institute and our University, as well as the Head of the Application and System programming chair, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Sergei Ermochenko and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the faculty of Philology, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Yulia Galkovskaia have considered prospects for cooperation. IBA provides the opportunities which students and the faculty of VSU certainly interested in: getting an international certification in the sphere of IT, proving the level of English proficiency by the international certificate TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language.
"IBA positions itself as an institution of retraining, which does not put emphasis its own courses, but on courses of popular global vendors (Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle). When IT specialists seek employment, various official certificates, aside from diploma of higher education, are highly appreciated by employers, thus this cooperation will be interesting for both students and teachers," commented Sergei Ermochenko.
By signing this agreement, we can offer our students to take fee-paying courses of world educational programs and to get certified without the need of leaving for Minsk.
