On March 13 Chinese and Belarusian students who have attained excellence in study, research and outclass activities, had a meeting with I. Karpenko, the Minister of Education in the Republic of Belarus. The meeting was held in the National Library of Belarus.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Tsui Tsimina, and the management of the Belarusian universities that admit students from China.

The atmosphere at the meeting was friendly, the participants could see a display of the achievements of Chinese students, watched a concert, the best students were awarded with prizes. The Chinese Ambassador expressed his high appreciation of the quality of training students in Belarusian universities, including the programs for training in music and art that are offered at VSU named after P.M. Masherov.
