A delegation from Turkmenistan headed by Nazarkyl Shakuliyev, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the RB, have visited VSU. Their main purpose of the visit was to have a meeting with Turkmen students who study at the university in Vitebsk.

Before speaking to the students Mr Ambassador met the representatives of the management of the university headed by Alexei Egorov, Reactor. Both sides emphasized a high level of cooperation between the university and Embassy of Turkmenistan in the RB. "The Embassy appreciate the long-standing and friendly relations with VSU," said Mr Ambassador.

Addressing the Turkmen students Mr Nazarkyl Shakuliyev stressed the impedance of abiding by the rules of university life as well as general standards of residence in Belarus.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan and Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov have been Partners for longer than 10 years. Now the university has over thousand Turkmen students and their number is growing.
