On June 9, an online conference "Welcome day - 2021" was held for foreign applicants planning to study at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology.

The First Vice-Rector Antonovich Dmitry had a welcome speech, in which he spoke about the development of the university at the present stage.

In the second part of the event, Sergey Aleksandrovich (PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technology and Business Management), showed the presentation "The Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies at the Present Stage of Development", which comprehensively reflected the educational and scientific potential of the faculty, the experience of teaching foreign students in English in specialty "Applied Informatics". Then he gave a master class in robotics.

Diana Biryukova (Master and Lecturer of the Department of Applied and System Programming) showed the presentation "Multifunctional walking stick" and told the participants about the faculty's opportunities for young scientists.

Sergey Pudovkin (specialist in support of the educational process of the Department of Applied and System Programming) gave a master class on virtual reality.
