On August 5, the first meeting was held for the students of the Lyceum of VSU named after P.M. Masherov and their parents. Its main goals are to develop a system of cooperation with the family in the interests of students and to improve the pedagogical culture of parents.

The rector of the University Valentina Vasilyevna Bogatyreva addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. She noted that the traditions of the university and the well-established system of work of all employees allow each lyceum student to realize himself, choosing the right path for self-determination in the future. Besides, Olympiads for regional universities are a real opportunity to become a university student before the end of the academic year.

The Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Yulia Petrovna Bezhenar told about the planned events for the upcoming academic year, the multifaceted choice of possible classes according to interests for each lyceum student.

The director of the Lyceum Natalia Vladimirovna Shcheglova announced the main indicators of a successful entrance campaign, familiarized parents with the content, methodology and features of the educational process for each of the three profiles. Comprehensive answers were given to all the questions that worried not only parents, but also students. Also, the participants of the established dialogue discussed the proposals made to improve the forms of work during the academic year.

This meeting is another step that promotes team building and involvement of parents in the activities of the Lyceum of VSU named after P.M. Masherov.
