On November 14, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, in collaboration with State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bashkir academy of public service and administration under the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan", held a roundtable discussion on the topic "Forms and Methods of Protecting Violated Rights." The opening remarks were delivered by the First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, A.P. Mekhovich, and the Rector of the State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bashkir academy of public service and administration under the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan", D.M. Abdrakhmanov.

The roundtable participants included not only scholars but also practicing lawyers. Various issues concerning current forms and methods of protecting violated rights were discussed. Vitebsk State University presented a report titled "Prospects for the Use of Mediation in Court Cases Arising from Marriage and Family Relations," delivered by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, mediator O.L. Moroz.

Such joint events contribute to strengthening international cooperation and exchanging experiences.
