Within the framework of the official visit of the VSU delegation named after P.M. Masherov to the Republic of Uzbekistan it is planned to sign a number of bilateral agreements.

On February 6, the rector of the university Valentina Vasilyevna Bogatyreva held negotiations with the leadership of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, during which an Agreement on cooperation in the field of educational, scientific and socio-cultural activities was signed. Agreements were reached to establish a joint faculty, as well as a language center. The main cooperation is planned with the participation of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Humanities and Language Communications.

On February 7, a meeting was held with the leadership of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. Preparation of the Roadmap for bilateral cooperation has started, the main directions of joint scientific research have been defined, specialties for launching experimental joint educational programs have been selected. At the end of the negotiations, an Agreement on academic exchange of students and teaching staff was signed.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings will be held with several more partner universities from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
