On March 27-28, Valentina Bogatyreva, the Rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, and Yulia Salakhova, the Head of the International Relations Department, paid a business visit to Moscow, Russian Federation.

During the visit on March 27th there was a meeting with the leadership of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, within the framework of which issues of implementing joint educational programs, academic exchanges, joint preparation of textbooks, implementation of projects of scientific and humanitarian cooperation, organization of joint educational and civil-patriotic events, including those dedicated to the upcoming celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, were discussed.

At the end of the meeting a bilateral Agreement on cooperation in educational, educational and scientific spheres was signed.

On March 28, the University delegation took part in the plenary and sectional sessions of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topical problems of construction and development of the Union State "The Union State in a multipolar world", organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.

Valentina Bogatyreva, Rector of VSU, made a report "Mechanisms of development of integration processes of the Union State in the sphere of science and education" within the framework of the section "Development of the Union State economy under sanctions".

In general, the conference developed scientifically substantiated proposals on normative-legal regulation of interaction between Belarus and Russia in the new geopolitical conditions.
