On December 6, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov hosted a delegation from Guangzhou Institute of Technology and Business (People's Republic of China). The meeting was chaired by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Miroslava Yuzefovna Bobrik.

During the visit, the parties held negotiations on cooperation. VSU presented its scientific, educational, innovative and cultural potential. The discussions focused on developing partnership in educational cooperation within the framework of experimental projects implemented by the university, as well as in scientific and socio-cultural activities to strengthen Belarusian-Chinese educational ties.

The visit concluded with a ceremonial signing of a Letter of Intent.
