As part of a working visit to St. Petersburg, University Rector Valentina Bogatyreva and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Miroslava Bobrik held a series of strategic meetings with partners from the city's leading educational and scientific organizations. The visit aims to expand cooperation in the fields of science, education, and innovation.

During a meeting with the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), the delegation discussed prospects for the joint development of software for technical systems, as well as the creation of collaborative educational programs and the organization of summer and winter schools. A key outcome of the meeting was the signing of an Academic Mobility Agreement, which will open new opportunities for students and faculty of both universities.

In a meeting with the leadership of the North-West Institute of Management, a branch of RANEPA, the parties reviewed issues related to developing joint educational projects, student exchange programs, and scientific and innovative cooperation. Particular attention was paid to finalizing a draft roadmap for collaboration for 2026-2027, which will serve as the foundation for long-term partnership.

During the business visit to the Institute for Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, discussions focused on preparing grant applications for the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research (BRFFR) and the Russian Science Foundation (RSF). The conditions for the exchange of faculty and researchers were also agreed upon. To conclude the meeting, the parties approved a draft Plan of Joint Scientific Events for 2026-2027, which includes conferences, seminars, and research projects.

This visit helped strengthen partnership ties with key scientific and educational centers in St. Petersburg. The agreements reached create a solid foundation for new joint programs, scientific research, and academic exchanges, which will contribute to intensifying cooperation with the Russian Federation, strengthening the university's position abroad, and enhancing its international reputation.
