On June 3, a delegation from Shandong Agricultural University (China) arrived at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. The delegation included representatives of Shandong University's partner companies in the field of biotechnology. The key objective was to hold talks aimed at developing international inter-university cooperation, implementing joint activities in education and science, and organizing academic exchanges for faculty and students. Ecology, information technology, artificial intelligence in biotechnology and agriculture were identified as the most promising areas of joint work.

During the meeting, a signing ceremony was held for a Memorandum of Understanding on academic and scientific cooperation between Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and Shandong Agricultural University.

Next, the colleagues from China were offered a tour of the university, in particular the Faculty of Chemical, Biological and Geographical Sciences and its laboratories.
