Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov summarized the results of the visit of the rectors of leading higher education institutions from the Andijan Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Vitebsk Region. The delegation's program was extensive and allowed the guests to fully appreciate the potential of the northern region of Belarus and its universities.

During the regional scientific and educational forum, which brought together the heads of higher education institutions from the Andijan and Vitebsk regions, a signing ceremony for bilateral cooperation documents took place. The successful collaboration between VSU named after               P.M. Masherov and colleagues from Uzbekistan resulted in the signing of 11 cooperation agreements. The parties identified rapidly developing and socially significant areas as priority areas of work, including the introduction of information technology in medicine, the development of modern pedagogy, and the development of innovative solutions for agriculture. This will open up broad prospects for the implementation of joint educational programs and research projects, the practical implementation of which will begin in September.

• Andijan State University named after Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur;
• Andijan State Medical Institute;
• Andijan State Technical Institute;
• Andijan State Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology;
• Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages.

A roadmap was also signed today with VSU's partner in preschool education – the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute.

Today's forum served not only as a platform for open dialogue and the exchange of best practices, but also as a direct continuation of the agreements reached by the Heads of State to enhance interregional, scientific, technical, and cultural ties.
