The delegation of the representatives from the educational institutions of China visited Vitebsk State University with the purpose of acquaintance and establishment of close international contacts.

The Head of the University of Hankou, the Head of the University of Hubei Province, school principals and teachers are ready to cooperate with VSU, they are interested in educational exchange of students, online courses, creative specialties and the Russian language.

During the meeting with the Rector of Vitebsk State University Alexei Vladimirovich Egorov, the quests discussed many issues of mutual interest and cooperation.

The delegation visited the exhibition of works by students of the Faculty of Art and Graphics. There were some works created by Chinese students.

The tutor of the group Zhanna Kurdenko shared with us her opinion why the Chinese students choose Vitebsk for education:

"My former student Wang Yuquan – the Head of the Belarusian-Chinese company LLC «New Silk Road» – studied in other city and often visited Vitebsk. She likes Belarus and small cities: clean sky, beautiful nature, well-groomed parks, smiling people, ecology and fresh air. All this seems very important for the Chinese. Wang Yuquan opened an educational company with the mission of  promoting our universities, so that Chinese students come to Belarus and learn the Russian language. It is important that very strong friendship is developing between our two countries."
