On February 22, the final of the republican youth innovation project "100 Ideas for Belarus" was held at the site of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone".

February 21 is the International Mother Language Day. VSU students and teachers united at different venues to show once again that thanks to the language we preserve our history, traditions, experience and develop our heritage.

On February 17, in the assembly hall of our university, a screening with a discussion of the film "Officers" (dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of soldiers-Internationalists) was held.

On February 18, the 74th Regional Scientific and Practical Conference "Science - Education, Production, Economy" was held, bringing together teachers, researchers and postgraduates of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.

On February 14, a meeting of the student activists of VSU named after P.M. Masherov was held with the rector of the university, Professor Valentina Vasilyevna Bogatyreva. Such forms of interaction are already traditional and allow us to discuss all the issues of interest.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «LAW IN THE DIGITAL AGE»

On May 21-22, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Law in the Digital Age» is being held at VSU's Faculty of Law. Experts from Belarus and Russia discuss contemporary legal issues in the context of the transition to a digital civilization.

The final, but no less action-packed, day of the International Student Forum is underway at VSU. A joint exhibition of students' creative works opened in the Faculty of Fine Arts' exhibition hall.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU HELD AN ONLINE OPEN DAY FOR STUDENTS FROM CHINA

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.

On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.

On April 30, the VSU team set out on a journey, continuing the glorious and long-loved tradition of the annual «Roads of War – Roads of Victory» rally, together with a good friend of the university and the project's organizer, Eduard Tereshko.

Navruz, the celebration of the arrival of spring according to the astronomical solar calendar, is a national holiday in Turkmenistan. It symbolizes the awakening of new life and the return of warmth after a long cold spell.

On February 24, the VSU Rector held talks with the leadership of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The goal was to discuss the prospects of organizing a joint International Student Forum.
