On June 8, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko presented an award to Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov as the winner of the competition for the Government Award for achievements in the field of quality in 2020.

The International Office, the Faculty of Foreign Citizens Training and the Faculty of Pedagogy organized and held on 22.04.2021 a joint occupational guidance event “Welcome Day - 2021” for Chinese citizens in the form of an online conference.

On February 25, during the “Sports Glory Day” event, a renewed assembly hall was inaugurated, an award ceremony and a friendly mini-football match were held in educational building № 3 of VSU named after P.M. Masherov.

On March 5, VSU named after P.M. Masherov hosted an event dedicated to the International Women's Day, a holiday of spring, charm, flowers and beauty. On this day, representatives of the male staff of the university arranged a lot of pleasant surprises and musical congratulations.

On February 2, the final exhibition opening of training paintings of VSU master’s course students , citizens of the People's Republic of China, “Belarus - China. Friendship and Cooperation ” took place at the Faculty of Art and Graphics.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.

On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.
