On August 19, a graduation ceremony of awarding master’s degree diplomas to citizens of the People's Republic of China took place at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. 37 master’s course students received master’s degree diplomas in such specialties as Design Studies, Art History, Educational Management, Psychology, Jurisprudence, etc.

On August 5, the first meeting was held for the students of the Lyceum of VSU named after P.M. Masherov and their parents. Its main goals are to develop a system of cooperation with the family in the interests of students and to improve the pedagogical culture of parents.

On August 4, a cooperation agreement was signed between VSU named after P.M. Masherov and the Republican Public Association "Patriots of Belarus".

July 29 is a significant day for young people who have completed their studies at the Military Department of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov this year. Today, for the first time, 43 young men took the military oath in a solemn atmosphere on Victory Square near the memorial complex "Three Bayonets".

On July 29, a meeting of the admission committee was held at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, during which applicants on the basis of three CT (centralized testing) certificates were enrolled in the university (full-time and part-time) of higher education of the first stage in specialties at the expense of the republican budget.

Every year, students of VSU named after P.M. Masherov become participants in the international program «Summer University». This July, representatives of our alma mater went to Pskov State University and Siberian Federal University.

The First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State University Dmitry Antonovich is in the Lebanese Republic on a business visit.

Rector of VSU Valentina Bogatyreva was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for her fruitful participation in the work of the Interdisciplinary Research Cluster “Belarusian School of Economics”.

International Economic Forum “Innovations. Investments. Prospects” was held on July 14-16 in Vitebsk. It was attended by 15 delegations from the Russian Federation, India and Iran. The latest scientific developments were found in Belarusian scientific, innovative enterprises and organizations of the Vitebsk region.

July 16, 2022 on the stage of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, almost six hundred participants from all over Belarus were united by the national festival “The Fire of Youth Talents”. Collectives and individual performers demonstrated their talents in three competitions: “Fire of Dance”, “Fire of Voice” and “Fire of Uniqueness”.
