Rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Doctor of Economics, Professor Valentina Bogatyreva became the laureate of the regional award "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2021"in the nomination social sphere (social protection of the population, culture, education, science, sports, health care, youth).

On March 1, an online conference and the procedure for signing a cooperation agreement with Zaozhuang University (People's Republic of China) took place, which was attended by Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, PhD in Economics, Professor Bogatyreva Valentina Vasilyevna.

The vocal group of the University "New Voices" (head - Margarita Nikitina) won 3 diplomas in the International festival-competition "Firebird of Russia".

On February 25, an online seminar for teachers of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and Novgorod State University (NovSU) "Ways to implement the concept and strategies of civic education of students in the context of information security."

On February 24, a meeting of the University Council was held in the assembly hall, at which the rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Professor Valentina Bogatyreva awarded the staff and students of the Orsha College for high achievements in competitions and contests of the regional and republican international levels.

On February 22, the final of the republican youth innovation project "100 Ideas for Belarus" was held at the site of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone".

February 21 is the International Mother Language Day. VSU students and teachers united at different venues to show once again that thanks to the language we preserve our history, traditions, experience and develop our heritage.

On February 18, the 74th Regional Scientific and Practical Conference "Science - Education, Production, Economy" was held, bringing together teachers, researchers and postgraduates of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.

On February 17, in the assembly hall of our university, a screening with a discussion of the film "Officers" (dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of soldiers-Internationalists) was held.

On February 14, a meeting of the student activists of VSU named after P.M. Masherov was held with the rector of the university, Professor Valentina Vasilyevna Bogatyreva. Such forms of interaction are already traditional and allow us to discuss all the issues of interest.
